Dental Education On Demand
Please take 5 minutes and view this introductory video to see how you can benefit from our online courses.
Series 1 videos follow a patient through all aspects of treatment with 6 e.max HT lithium disilicate restorations, both dental laboratory and clinical sections are included. If participants want to have this be a hands on exercise, models of this patient can be ordered from Ivoclar and you can practice the techniques presented in the video while you watch.. This 45 minute video is the first in the series showing the additive-reductive technique of diagnostic waxing where changes in tooth position are tracked and we get some idea as to how much tooth structure needs to be prepared and where our margins need to be located to achieve the patients goals. This patient presents with spaces between teeth that require contour management to create a pleasing result. Smile design based on facial photographs is covered. This video is viewable from the IP address where it is purchased for a period of 20 days. The price is $199.00
This 30 minute video covers techniques used by Dr. Frankie Shull in the preparation of 6 anterior e.max veneers utilizing the diagnostic wax-up to create a clinical mock and demonstrating a prep through the mock up technique to insure even thickness of ceramic material. Provisional restorations are created with a matrix from the diagnostic wax-up, then evaluated prior to taking the final impressions. This video demonstrates conservative yet predictable preparation design and provisionalization to close spaces and create a situation where the dental laboratory has everything it needs to create a beautiful final result. This video is viewable from the IP address where it is purchased for a period of 20 days. The price is $199.00
This 45 minute video is the third in a series showing dental laboratory and clinical aspects of the treatment of a patient with 6 e.max high translucency lithium disilicate veneers. This module shows the waxup of the final restorations based on a wax injection transferring shape and form from the provisional model to the preparation model. Tis video features shape, form, surface morphology and incisal cutback in wax. The preoperative condition of this case includes several diastema; the waxing video deals with the esthetic composition necessary to convert this situation to a highly esthetic outcome. If you wish, you can order the models for this case from Ivoclar, the full set includes stone die models for technicians and composite die models for clinical exercises. This video is viewable from the IP address where it is purchased for a period of 20 days. The price is $199.00

This module shows the ceramic buildup of the final restorations. This video features shape, form, surface morphology, incisal layering techniques and final fit to a solid model and diamond polishing. The preoperative condition of this case includes several diastema; the ceramic video deals with the esthetic composition necessary to convert this situation to a highly esthetic outcome. A comprehensive video detailing waxing technique including wax injection and ceramic technique along with cutback contour and layering.
The Empress Technique video has comprehensive detail on waxing technique; including wax injection and ceramic technique along with cutback contour and layering. There are clinical before-and-after photos of the patient and I give detailed instruction about why we make the contour changes relative to the photos. Basically, I present everything I would cover in my advanced anterior hands-on course.
The viewing cost is $175.00 for 10 days viewing from the location it is ordered from (don't order it at home and try to watch at work or vice versa). It can be viewed as many times as desired by as many people as you wish for a period of ten days from the time of purchase. It is filmed through my global microscope so the detail magnification is fabulous!

This 10 minute video covers the finishing, staining, crystallization and glazing of milled e.max lithium disilicate "Blue Block" restorations after milling proceedures are completed. This video features restorations that were milled in the Diadem milling center after being scanned and designed on a 3 shape scanning system in our lab. This is a very viable business model for laboratories without in-house milling capability. The finishing and crystallization techniques displayed are equally applicable to restorations milled in the dental lab or in office. This video is viewable for 10 days form the IP address where it is purchased. The fee is $39.99
The new HT BL2 lithium disilicate ingot is used to create a beautiful, healthy looking, bright and durable smile for our patient with a comprehensive detail on waxing technique which shows the development of detailed posterior anatomy working in harmony with anterior guidance.
The Emax Full-Mouth Reconstruction Technique video features a case using the new HT BL2, lithium disilicate ingot. It is used in this video to create a beautiful, healthy looking, bright and durable smile for our patient. There is comprehensive detail on waxing technique which shows the development of detailed posterior anatomy working in harmony with anterior guidance. The integration of function and esthetics make this video unique. The strategy of maximizing the support offered by the 400mpa lithium disilicate material is discussed and utilized effectively in a cutback technique that maximizes strength, yet allows nice incisal effects. The ceramic technique shows how to create beautiful effects using the impulse powders in the Emax ceramic kit as well as how to idealize contour and create nice surface morphology with the lithium disilicate material. I feel this is a very comprehensive piece that shares much of what I have been working to develop for the last 3 years. I hope you find it enjoyable and instructive!

This 50 minute video focuses on additive waxing technique for 2 mandibular and 1 maxillary molar, which oppose each other. I use hot wax to establish a majority of the morphology, but also use a carver when necessary to keep the technique time efficient. This is a great way to brush up on your posterior waxing and anatomical skills. Cost of this video is $99.00. Be sure to order it where you want to watch it, it will play for 10 days and can be viewed as many times as desired from the IP address that you order it from. You can not order it at work and play it at home on your laptop. Enjoy!
This 1 hour and 15 minute video integrates two bridges into an esthetic reconstructive case. The patient is being restored with e.max lithium disilicate restorations, etched and bonded to underlying dentition. All ceramic bridges were selected, zirconia as a substructure and lithium disilicate single restorations bonded over the zirconia substructure after they are completed to give the advantage of the 400 mpa strength of lithium disilicate material over the zirconia. This video covers all aspects of anterior esthetic treatment including the establishment of ovate pontic sites under the bridges. The technique is new and technically demanding, you can decide if it fits into your practice profile. The video can be watched repeatedly for 10 days from the location purchased; the fee is $175.00. It will not work if you change internet IP locations, purchase it where you wish to view it.
This video presented by Dr. John Roberts features immediate placement and immediate loading of implants replacing a denture. This technique involves treatment planning using cat scan data, the creation of a model from the digital data, then the fabrication of a bridge, bridge carrier and surgical guide that allow an all in one appointment approach to a denture to fixed bridge conversion for a patient. This technique allows for the try in of the bridge prior to placement of the implants, thus insuring an outcome that is aesthetically and functionally successful. This process has many unique procedures and a very high predictability level. This video is viewable from the IP address where it is purchased for a period of 10 days. The price is $99.00
"Once again he has done it. I’ve known Matt Roberts for over 10 years and this has got to be one of the most innovative ideas yet! Just imagine being able to learn new techniques or see new ideas and technologies on your daily work, right in your own lab. Better yet, it is invaluable to be able to use these ideas and train your team in your own environment. Still today two things remain, “True knowledge is power” and “You have to spend money to make money”. I personally can recommend using this unique educational training method."

"Thank you so much for putting together the Emax video. With this new ingot it was great to see the way that others are making it work. It is also nice to have your demonstration on video so that I can have more of my technicians see it without the added cost of travel. The section on waxing was great for my waxing department to see how critical and important their role is. I look forward to seeing more videos."
