Dental Lab Education & The Aesthetic Bridge Solution

The introduction of new materials and applications is always exciting! The introduction of Authentic Pressed Ceramic System, and its ability to be pressed over a metal substructure, has opened new and exciting possibilities. In its simplest form, an easy solution to 360 degree porcelain margins. In more creative applications, the development of a new class of hybrid restorations, which generate the aesthetic results of bonded all ceramic restorations; yet, incorporate metal reinforcement in high stress and non-aesthetic areas.

This Dental Lab Education course will focus on advanced techniques to intermix bridges with all-ceramic restorations. Participants will fabricate a four unit anterior case, which contains a three-unit bridge with a minimal metal framework. Metal will be confined to the lingual surfaces of the abutment teeth and the pontic area. Facial areas of abutment teeth will be all ceramic. The single restoration will be all-ceramic.

This Dental Lab Education course will also cover multi tooth anterior aesthetic principals and communication techniques. The course will start Friday at 6:00 PM and finish Sunday at 3:00.
